Building a Strong Neighborhood Together

About

The Cordova Towne neighborhood is located in the “White Rock” area just north of Highway 50 within the “Riverside” portion of the All-America City of Rancho Cordova. The tract houses were built between 1956-1962 and contain typical era elements of brick fireplaces, wood floors, wide streets and decent-sized lots. Cordova Towne is located in the southwestern portion of the White Rock area of Rancho Cordova and has a vast range of ages, cultures, lifestyles, and languages spoken, as well as a population of Veterans sprinkled throughout.

gse_multipart4180The Cordova Towne Neighborhood Association is a volunteer effort run by a team of residents who want to help our neighborhood connect and grow in the right direction. We have a vision for a neighborhood that communicates well, spends time outdoors, takes care of its residents, promotes safety, and increase the overall quality of life. We are not an HOA, we do not have membership fees, nor do we have the power to enforce code or regulations. Our emphasis is simply on people, with the main idea that the more we communicate and work together in practical ways, the better off our neighborhood will be.

We believe that anyone can make a difference in the community and each household has something unique to contribute to the overall wellbeing of the neighborhood.

We are always looking for residents who would like to team up together. There are many things you can do to help out. We sincerely belive our neighborhood will grow stronger when more and more residents talk and work together for the greater good of our community. We do ask that when you get involved, that you not overcommit and that you make sure you are walking in a sense of purpose. We say use your gifts, abilities and talents for the sake of the neighborhood. That sure makes life fun, and deep friendships are built along the way too.

Taking pride in our neighborhood is what we are about and we look forward to seeing our community become even more vibrant through the next months and years. Together we can make a big difference.

ATTENTION STUDENTS: For your senior project at Cordova High School, we invite you to consider the possibility of helping your neighborhood experience change through a project you take charge with. We’d love to hear your ideas and talk more about that. Additionally, if you are needing community service hours, give us a call.
